Struck to mark the 2025 Lunar Year of the Snake, this magnificent release reimagines the traditional zodiac theme through the striking image of the American rattlesnake. Struck from five troy ounces of fine silver, the coin features a breathtaking contrast between rich selectively 24k gilded elements, a deeply shrouded dark black proof finish, and high-relief engraving. Issued as official legal tender under the authority of Niue, it represents a remarkable fusion of ancient symbolism, modern minting techniques, and sovereign backing.

Designed to captivate serious proof collectors and lunar series enthusiasts, the expansive 5oz format showcases an extraordinary depth of detail, from the reptile's shimmering scales to its menacing strike pose. The black proof surfaces produce an intense, mirror-like backdrop that magnifies the gleaming gold gilded highlights, offering unmatched visual drama and prestige. Encapsulated in pristine condition directly from the mint, each piece arrives housed in a luxury display case complete with an official Certificate of Authenticity.

With an ultra-exclusive worldwide mintage strictly limited to just 888 pieces, this impressive large-format issue offers immense secondary market potential and long-term numismatic scarcity. Its unique aesthetic, rich cultural theme, and high silver purity make it a standout centerpiece for modern proof collectors and high-end decimal collectors seeking rare, low-mintage masterworks.
